About Me.

Hi, my name is Vicky Dunn. My journey in veterinary medicine began in 2013, shortly after graduating with honors from San Juan College. I started out as a kennel technician, worked my way through roles as a receptionist and veterinary assistant, and in 2020 proudly became a Licensed Veterinary Technician.

I’ve always had a deep love for animals—ever since I was about six years old—and I’ve been fortunate enough to turn that love into a career. Over the years, I gained valuable experience in many areas of veterinary medicine, including four years working in emergency care, which continues to be one of my greatest passions.

At home, I’m surrounded by my own little pack: three dogs (a German Shepherd, a Collie mix, and a Husky) and three cats (two Domestic Shorthairs and a long-haired black cat). They remind me every day why I do what I do.

I started this business to help pet owners who may find it difficult to medicate their pets at home, or who feel nervous about leaving their pets while away on business or vacation. Maybe your dog doesn’t do well at the vet’s office but feels comfortable at home—I can step in to help with things like quick nail trims or following the care plan set by you and your veterinarian. While I cannot diagnose conditions or prescribe medications, I can assure you that your pet will always be in good hands with me.

This work is more than just a job—it’s my passion and my dream come true. I’m grateful to be able to support pets and their families, providing care with patience, compassion, and love.

While I am not a veterinarian, I am a licensed veterinary technician with training in animal healthcare and support

As a licensed veterinary technician, I work closely with you and your regular veterinarian to ensure your pet receives the best possible care. While I am not authorized to diagnose conditions or prescribe medications, I can administer treatments and medications that have been prescribed by your veterinarian, and assist in carrying out their recommended care plan.
